His power at Work

I belong to the family of God; that is my spiritual family. I belong to Christ; I have become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun. This is a gift from God, who brought me back to Himself through Christ.

When I was utterly helpless, without strength, Christ came at just the right time and died for me. I have received Jesus and believed in Him; so He has given me the right to become God’s child.

I am reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God. I am born of God, I have overcome the world. My faith is the victory that overcomes the world. I am a child of God, I defeat this evil world and conquer its ways, and I achieve this victory through my faith.  

I bow in prayer before the Father from whom every family in heaven and on earth gets its true name. God in His great glory gives me the power to be strong inwardly through His Spirit. Christ lives in my heart by faith; my life is strong in love and built on love.

I and all God’s holy people have the power to understand the greatness of Christ’s love—how wide and how long and how high and how deep that love is. Christ’s love is greater than anyone can ever know; God’s grace is sufficient for me to know that love. I am filled with the fullness of God.

With God’s power working in me, God can do much, much more than anything I can ask or imagine.

I live the way the Lord my God has commanded me so that I may live and have what is good and have a long life in the land.

I am willing and obedient; I eat the good of the land. I obey God and I serve Him; I live out my life in peace and prosperity. I know that I will live to see the Lord’s goodness in this present life.

I trust in the Lord. I have faith, I do not despair. I am brave and courageous. I wait patiently for the Lord. I am fully convinced that what God has promised He is also able to perform. God is watching to make sure His words come true in my life and home.
