Insights of Wisdom

The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. I live and walk in the fear of God; I am wise.

By the wisdom of God, my days shall be multiplied, and the years of my life shall be increased. My life will be extended; this year will be more fruitful than the past years.

I love God; I walk on the highway of light, and my way shines brighter and brighter until the perfect day. I behave wisely in all my ways.

My wisdom comes from God; it is pure, peace loving, gentle, willing to yield to others, full of mercy and good fruits, without favouritism and hypocrisy.

I have the fear of God in me, it leads to life; I rest satisfied, I cannot be visited with evil.

I guard the affections of my heart; they affect all that I am. I pay attention to the welfare of my innermost being, from there flows the wellspring of life.

I am wary and wise as a serpent, and innocent and harmless as a dove.

Wisdom exalts me; wisdom leads me to honour and favour; I live my life by the insights of wisdom.

The Lord guards me and keeps me in perfect and constant peace; my mind is stayed on Him.

I think about God’s orders and fix my eyes on His ways. I honour and love God’s commands. I meditate on His decrees and ponder all His great works; I muse on the work of His hands.

The Lord teaches me to number my days and live well; I am growing in wisdom.

I walk as a companion with wise men; I am wise.

When I lie down, I am not afraid; I lie down and my sleep is pleasant.

I am blessed and highly favoured. I am as a wonder and surprise to many; God is my strong refuge.
